What airports are nearby?

Nearby airports include Chania International Airport, located 71km away, and Heraklion International Airport, situated 80km away.

Are there parking facilities?

We offer an Underground Car Parking (extra charge/ upon availability ) with valet parking service. No costs apply when booking directly with us.

Where is the hotel located?

Nautilux Hotel is located on the Northeast of Crete, in Rethymno.  2,6 km from Rethymno Old Town

Is there an airport pick up?

We can arrange Airport Transfer upon request and for an extra charge. Our reservations department would be pleased to assist: reservations@nautiluxhotel.com

When is the hotel opening/Season?

Nautilux operates from April 15 till November 9th

What are the hotels´ standard check in and check out times?

  • Check-in is at 3 pm.
  • Check-out is at 11 am.

Can I book a late check out directly with the hotel whilst in the hotel?

Nautilux welcomes requests for a late check-out via the hotel’s reception, upon availability with extra charge.

Is there Wifi access in the rooms & public area?

Yes, Wi-Fi access is free of charge in all public areas and rooms.

What is the children policy?

Nautilux welcomes adults and children above the age of 12.

Are the Hotel Facilities accessible for guests with reduced mobility? Does the hotel feature any rooms adapted for persons with reduced mobility?

Yes, guest with reduced mobility can access all public areas.  Nautilux features 6 Superior Rooms that are adapted for people with reduced mobility. The Tropical Green Lake Outdoor Pool was designed to be accessible for individuals with reduced mobility.

Are the hotel swimming pools heated?

All pools of the rooms & suites are heated and as well the indoor pool of the Spa. The hotels outdoor pools are not heated.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are not allowed in the hotel.

What extra services do you offer?

Is there a Guest Relations Service available to assist with restaurant reservations, transportation and local attractions ?

Yes, the Nautilux Guest Relation Service is available every day from 09:00 till 24:00.

Are there any business or meeting facilities available for guests ?

Yes, Nautilux offers business and meeting facilities. Please contact us via reservations@nautiluxhotel.com to get more information and a personalized quote.

What is the Smoking Policy?

All our hotel rooms are non-smoking. Please see the signs or ask our hotel staff for designated smoking areas in the hotel. Please note that a fine of 150€ might apply should you violate the hotels smoking policy.

What meal plans are available in the hotel?

Nautilux offers the following meal plans:

  • Breakfast
  • Half Board
  • Premium Full Board

What is included in the Half board?

Half board includes two meals. One of these meals is breakfast while the other is dinner. The meals are served as buffets. Beverages are not included in this meal plan.

What is included in the Nautilux Premium Full Board?

Our Premium Full Board includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks.

  1. Breakfast at ULIVO Restaurant: A lavish, freshly made breakfast with local and international flavors is served in buffet style at the main Ulivo restaurant.
  2. A la carte menu at NAUTICA POOL BAR/BEACH BAR: An authentic culinary lunch & snack menu is available from early noon until late afternoon, offering you a variety of mouth-watering dishes. Feel free to order from the menu at any suitable location: at the pool, at the bar or at the beach.
  3. Dinner at ULIVO Restaurant: We serve a wide selection of local, healthy, and vegetarian options in a rich, innovative buffet. The selection of authentic Cretan, Greek and international flavors changes every day
  4. A la carte NAUTICA BAR: We serve an menu based on Cretan and Greek cuisine. This dining approach offers various appetizers, ideal for a light meal, accompanied by local aperitifs ouzo or Tsikoudia.

Which drinks and beverages are included in the Nautilux Premium Full Board?

Unlimited consumption:

  • Soft Drinks (cola, sprite, soda)
  • Mineral water (sparkling or still)
  • Coffee (filter or instant coffee, espresso, cappuccino), hot chocolate
  • Healthy smoothies, juices, tea

Daily allowance per person:

  • One Bottle of wine
  • Two cocktails or alcoholic drinks
  • Four beers

The combination of the above selection is applicable.

Can I order the Nautilux Premium Full Board via room service?

The Premium full board package is NOT applicable for Room Service orders. Room Service charge of 5€ per order applies.

When is the Room Service available and what is the charge?

Room Service is served from 7.30 till 00:00. Breakfast in the room is available from 7.30-12.00 am and the main menu is served from 12.00-00.00 pm. The Room Service Menu items are not included in the Premium Full Board Package. Room Service charge of 5€ per order applies.

Do you cater to specific dietary requirements?

Glatt kosher sealed meals are available upon request with extra charge. Please contact us for more information.

Is there a dress code for the Nautilux Restaurant?

We value our guests´ freedom and do not enforce a dress code in our hotels outlets. We kindly ask you not to wear swimwear, slippers and flip-flops during dinner time at the Ulivo restaurant.

Do you arrange Private Dinners?

We would be pleased to organize a private dinner for you, either in candlelit atmosphere next to the beach or in a chic and cozy indoor setting. Select from our exquisite degustation menu or opt for a private barbecue. Please contact us via reservations@nautiluxhotel.com to share your dinner preferences and receive a tailored menu/offer.

Do the rooms have ironing facilities?

Yes, all rooms have ironing facilities, upon request.

Do the rooms feature a safety box?

Each room has a safe box.

Do the rooms include tea & coffee facilities?

Yes, tea and coffee facilities are available in all hotel rooms.  A hot water kettle will be provided upon request.

Do the rooms feature a minibar?

A minbar is available, but it is not stocked by the hotel. Please contact us to request a filling (extra charge applies). Certain types of rooms offer complimentary mini bar. Please contact us via reservations@nautiluxhotel.com for more information.
